I was born in rural Ottawa and have spent most of my life there. I received a diploma in Environmental Science at a small college in Lindsay Ontario, and then I worked in the trades as a Land Surveyor for 2 years. In 2011 I had a profound encounter in my faith and it led me to become more involved in spreading the gospel message. Through various mission projects and a strong zeal, it led me to apply to be a campus missionary. Last year I became a full time lay missionary with CCO (Catholic Christian Outreach) and spent my first year in Calgary. Now I am a part of the Ryerson Catholics ministry team here in Toronto and I’m excited to be here!
It’s hard to choose between so many awesome saints, but my favorite would be St. John Paul II. I am inspired by his life, his mission, and his writings on Theology of the Body. So far, my favorite restaurant in Toronto is Salad King.
